Tandem Flight FAQS

A tandem flight is a type of flight where a passenger is attached to a certified pilot and fly together. The passenger does not need any prior experience or training.

Paragliding is a type of flight where the pilot and passenger fly using a glider, which is launched by running down a hill or slope. Paramotoring is a type of flight where the pilot and passenger fly using a small engine attached to the back of the pilot, which allows for a longer and more controlled flight.

The duration of a tandem flight depends on the type of flight you choose. We offer instructional flights that last 15-20 minutes, cross-country flights that last 45+ minutes

We recommend wearing comfortable, athletic clothing or beachwear. You may also bring a light jacket or sweater as temperatures can be cooler at higher altitudes.

The weight limit for a tandem flight is 275 lbs.

The minimum age for a tandem flight is 8 years old.

We offer a professional video/picture package that captures the highlights of your flight! We don’t recommend bringing your phone or camera- and are not responsible if you drop it

Yes, all of our pilots are certified by the USPPA (United States Powered Paragliding Association) and have undergone extensive training and safety checks.

Its like a lawn chair in the sky! Once seated properly you should be very comfortable in the harness.

Flights are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another date or person with a 24 hour notice.

Our pilots will check the weather conditions before each flight and will only fly if it is safe to do so. If the weather is not suitable for flying, we will reschedule your flight for a later date.

We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time.

Tandem paragliding is considered to be a safe activity when performed by certified and experienced pilots, following proper safety protocols. Our pilots are certified by the USPPA (United States Powered Paragliding Association) and have undergone extensive training and safety checks, there is however an element of risk in any form of aviation activity.

Our pilots conduct thorough pre-flight safety checks and only fly when weather conditions are suitable. We also have strict weight and age restrictions to ensure the safety of our passengers.

Our pilots will provide you with a brief safety briefing before the flight. During the flight, you will be seated in a harness attached to the pilot, and you will experience the sensation of flying and even control the aircraft yourself!

During our instructional flights, you will be able to take control of the glider under the supervision of our experienced pilot.

With our pro-edited video/picture package, you’ll be able to relive the thrill of flying with the birds and soaring in the clouds, set against the beautiful backdrop of Crystal Beach. You’ll be able to share your experience with friends and family, and look back on it for years to come. The video and pictures are professionally edited and sent to you in a google drive.
